I know it's not really a Synology forum, but maybe some of you have already solved the problem in your past.

I'm quite new here, and a quite new owner of DS712+.
I am very pleased with synology (comparing to pseudo-nas WD MyCloud which got me very angry and disappointed).

I'd like to ask about the usb webcam settings.
Here's the problem description:

I've turned my old smartphone SGS2 into ip webcam.
I've successfully added it into the surveillance station.
I've downloaded usb_webcam_x86 package and installed it into DS712+.
I've connected MS LifeCam Cinema HD 720p to the DS712+ usb port.

When I open the usb camera app and its configuration page:
https://tiburon:5001/webman/3rdparty/usb_webcam/index.cgi
I've set following settings:
Port:8082
User:chris
Pwd:xxxxxx

Now, when I refresh the page, I can see a snapshot of the camera view (meaning, that the camera is supported and the driver is working - looks optimistic).

Now, when I'm trying to add that usb camera in the Surveillance Station, I receive error messages during the connection test. Errors like "wrong ip/port", "check user/pwd" etc...
